Blue Jean Baby

Hey all! What could possibly be more American than a Canadian tuxedo? Nothing. That's what. Anyways, I've noticed that denim on denim along with the color blue have been ongoing trends in both menswear and womenswear, not to mention easy, comfortable and universally flattering. I decided to take those ideas and crank it up to 11.
Is the jacket weather appropriate? Maybe not. It does look good though.
Don't you think?

Fruit Punch Lips in the Bright Sunshine

Hello dolls!
Here in California, it's basically been summer for about a month now. Thankfully after three straight weeks of off the charts windiness, I can finally start wearing flowy dresses and skirts, which means so many more options!
However today, I wanted to incorporate an adorable pair of floral high waisted shorts I picked up from Brandy Melville recently...I think I fell in love with them so quickly because it was probably the ONLY bright summer print available for months in the store. Unfortunately Brandy Melville's "one size fits all" sizing leaves out MANY women, and I would know, I used to be a size Large to Xtra Large. But alas, I will provide you gals with several other floral shorts options because I see them as a MUST HAVE summer item.

I paired the shorts with a soft cream flowy crop top from Brandy Melville, my absolute favorite pair of Just Fab wedges, a clutch, and several accessories. I chose natural colored eye makeup and a light pink lip. Lastly I was gifted these adorable pink donut earrings and I cannot stop wearing them. They definitely add uniqueness and spunk to my outfit and I receive compliments on them every time I wear them. Etsy has plenty of sellers with similar items and now I am tempted to get a cupcake pair and a sushi pair!

Style Tip: This summer look is best suited using a pair of floral shorts with a color underlay or a white underlay, avoid using floral shorts with a black underlay as it may clash. Also when wearing a statement necklace, it is best to keep the hair simple or out of the way.

Gypsy Goth

Hey there lovelies!

Thought we would put out some content to get us started. It's def gonna be rocky in the begginning but we will get the hang of this sooner or later. Yesterday we took a drive down Ventura Boulevard to Iguana Vintage Clothing, American Vintage, and Buffalo Exchange. Found quite a lot of wonderful pieces, but only took home a few, including...
an adorable vintage scarf hem skirt with suspenders
cheeky (literally) Levi's denim acid wash shorts,
a lacy cinched tie-front peasant top,
and some AH-mazing tortoise and gold-accented circle sunglasses.

Stay tuned for looks using today's haul.
